Report summary
Global markets await start to winter as brief cold snap feeds heating demand in Europe Front month TTF prices have been relatively range bound since the start of November as the market waits for the start of winter. This week’s reporting period saw prices start around $15 on expectations of a European cold snap over the weekend but ended at around $14.4. Through the window of the 22nd to the 28th, TTF’s premium over NBP was reversed as the NBP rose $0.5 above TTF at its highest. This was followed by a UK-Dutch BBL gas pipeline switch.
