The Cai Nuoc field, located entirely in Vietnamese waters, is a portion of the larger East Bunga Kekwa - Cai Nuoc Unit field which spans the PM3 CAA block and Block 46 in Vietnam, both of which are operated by Hibiscus. First oil production was achieved in September 2003 with gas and condensate production following in December 2003. Gas is gathered at the PM3 CAA hub and exported to Kerteh in Peninsular Malaysia or to the Ca Mau power complex in southern Vietnam.
